Spring kickoff

Well once again, I am here with egg on my face, catching up to photos taken over a month ago lol.

After my last post, work got really busy, and I had a lot of plans on the weekends and such that I just didn’t have the headspace to sit down and write or post anything.

I had a big plan near the end of March, so most of my energy was focused on that, and scheduled a photoshoot in early April. I may post some of that next.

But to catch up on this post: I went to a “Spring Kickoff” event on March 2nd. The weather turned pretty cold, and rained the day before, so for a spring kickoff, it was pretty mistimed. Cold weather aside though, I had a great time with friends and here are a few select shots I took.

The event was held at Filoli, and the ballroom was open for visitors. I really like the soft colors they painted the walls with and the overall tone.

The garden was barely in bloom since it was too early in the season, but the sun was out enough even though the entire day was very windy.

Visually, the doors and gates are always beautiful.

And finally, a random shot of this bench really spoke to me.
