Since I live pretty close to a lot of good hiking trails, I went on a hike with a friend on a weekend in February. I think the biggest problem I have with taking photos is my bag. I typically use a backpack, but the hassle of swinging my backpack around to get out my camera is a friction point. It definitely was an issue in my previous trips, and I had to rely on my friend to help me juggle swapping lenses. My choice of a wrist strap1 is also not working out as I originally imagined.
I think I’ll have to rethink this going forward. I want to get a bigger sling bag, and possibly a new camera strap.
